Your responsibilities and the service boundaries when using Engineering Foundry.
Last updated: September 23, 2026.
These terms apply to your use of the Engineering Foundry website, preparation tools, accounts, and community features. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
Engineering Foundry provides engineering interview-preparation content, practice tools, and ways to connect with other participants. The material is educational and informational. It does not guarantee a referral, interview, offer, compensation level, or employment outcome and is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or career advice tailored to your circumstances.
Provide accurate information where an account or feature requires it, keep your login credentials secure, and use only accounts and information you are authorized to access. You are responsible for the content you submit and for your use of the service. Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised. Google and other sign-in providers also apply their own terms to their services.
Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass or impersonate others, submit misleading claims, distribute malicious code, send spam, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or usage limits, or attempt to access someone else's private records.
Do not upload material you lack permission to share, including confidential employer information, proprietary interview questions, credentials, or another person's personal information. Follow the rules of the interview, employer, or assessment you participate in; preparation tools do not authorize cheating or violating confidentiality obligations.
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Engineering Foundry permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you choose, including sharing a referral request with its permitted recipients or displaying content you choose to make public. Private preparation records are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Public contributions may be reviewed, declined, edited with your involvement, or removed for relevance, safety, accuracy, or compliance with these terms. Public content and downloaded materials can be copied by other people, so removal from the service cannot recall every external copy. Feedback may be used to improve the service.
Referrers independently decide whether to accept or submit a referral. Work-email verification shows access to a mailbox at the time of verification; it does not certify employment, identity, or authority to refer. A request marked referred records the referrer's confirmation, not an employer's receipt or decision. Participants must follow applicable employer referral and conflict-of-interest policies.
Respect the copyright, licenses, and other rights that apply to Engineering Foundry materials and linked resources. Access to the website does not transfer ownership of its content or authorize redistribution beyond the applicable license or law. External links, company names, and examples do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Third-party websites, communities, and tools are controlled by their respective providers.
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or that any feature will meet every preparation need. Features may change, become unavailable, or be discontinued. Keep copies of work you need, using exports or downloads where available.
We may restrict access, remove content, or suspend or close an account when reasonably necessary to address violations of these terms, protect users or the service, or comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time and use the account-deletion controls or contact us for assistance. The Privacy Policy explains the effect of deletion and records that may remain.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms as the service changes and will revise the date above. Review the current terms when using the service. For questions, account assistance, or a report about content you believe violates your rights, contact engineeringfoundry.dev@gmail.com. Describe the issue and identify the relevant page without including passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
